refund POLICY

At Least 30 Days Prior to Event: In the event a registered team withdrawals their registration at least 30 days prior to the event start date, the team will receive a credit towards a future BOTGB less $200, considered a nonrefundable deposit. The team will forfeit their event deposit.

Less than 30 Days Prior to the Event: In the event a registered team withdrawals their registration less than 30 days of the event start date, the registered team will forfeit 100% of their registration.

In the event BITV cancels the scheduled tournament prior to the start of the event:

• $200 will be considered the nonrefundable deposit and will be retained by BITV as a processing fee.
• The registered team receives a credit equal to the paid registration minus the nonrefundable deposit ($200).

During-event Cancellation: In the event BITV cancels only part of a scheduled event, the refund policy will depend on the number of completed games, as outlined below:

1. Registered teams who have completed two or more games will not receive a credit.
2. For teams who have completed fewer than two games:

• the nonrefundable deposit ($200) is retained by BITV as a processing fee.
• the team receives a prorated credit based on the number of games played and the guaranteed game count for that tournament.

BITV reserves the right to adjust game times, shorten games, or reschedule the tournament if it deems it to be in the best interest of all registered teams involved to complete as many games as possible.  BITV will be run under the new TSSAA guidelines for Ladies’ Lacrosse.  But, for the sake of this document, we will work hard to maintain a strict schedule and will ask for Referees, Coaches, and Volunteers to help move things along.
